Models of understated luxury, Koeppel’s gilt pieces are made in the hand-coiled tradition and fired with oxides, then gilded in precious metals. She draws her inspiration from the pure and precise lighting design created by Alberto Giacometti and Diego Giacometti for Jean-Michel Frank. The resulting functional artworks are each one-of-a-kind and include custom shades and electrical components that are carefully considered design details.
