Gerald Bland is currently featuring a unique selection of lighting pieces by New York artist Andrea Koeppel.
Models of understated luxury, Koeppel’s gilt lamps are made in the hand-coiled tradition and fired with oxides, then gilt in precious metals. The resulting functional artworks are each one-of-a-kind and include custom shades and electrical components that are carefully considered design details.
Andrea received a BFA from Pratt Institute, and also studied at FIT and Greenwich House Pottery. She was also an apparel designer who’s clients included Takishimaya NY and Barney’s NY.
